Before the first order
Good preparation makes room for better decisions.
An enquiry may arrive as a complete drawing set or a few early questions. Both are useful starting points. We first discuss the location, project stage, intended use, budget direction and programme.
From there, the work becomes more specific. The team identifies suitable materials, records open questions and agrees who needs to confirm each detail. Samples, drawings and written approvals help create a common reference.
The method below is a guide to that collaboration. Services, checks, costs and timing are agreed for the particular project and products involved.
THE ORWES WAY
Every confirmation should make the next step clearer.
Building Better Projects. Together. When things change
Keep the latest decision visible.
A changed finish or dimension needs to reach everyone it affects. Keep important revisions in writing and identify the drawing or specification that replaces the previous version.
Before proceeding, discuss any effect on quantities, cost, production or delivery. Shared confirmation helps prevent different teams from working to different assumptions.
Prepare your brief
Start with what you know.
Useful information includes the project location and type, current stage, required materials, drawings or dimensions, style references, budget direction and target dates. Tell us who is involved in design, purchasing and installation.
You do not need every answer before contacting us. Flag the items still being developed so we can focus the first conversation on the decisions that matter next.
THE ORWES METHOD
Six stages. One connected conversation.
From understanding the brief to supporting the result, every stage helps the team see what comes next.
Understand
Start with the location, design intent, budget, programme and people involved. Agree what your project needs before recommending products.
Plan
Discuss materials, finishes, production options and the supply sequence. Identify decisions, dependencies and questions that still need an answer.
Confirm
Record the agreed drawings, dimensions, colours, hardware, quantities and delivery scope. Confirm changes in writing before production begins.
Build
Coordinate production against the confirmed requirements. Follow up on progress and the agreed quality checks, and communicate changes as they arise.
Deliver
Coordinate packaging, shipment planning and the relevant documents. Discuss access, timing and responsibilities with the project team before dispatch.
Support
Stay in touch after delivery. Review questions with the customer and the relevant supplier, and work together on practical next steps.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
A few practical questions.
Can we review samples before ordering?
Sample availability, preparation time, cost and delivery arrangements depend on the product. We confirm these details for the items being considered.
How are quality checks and shipping arranged?
The project scope can include production follow-up, pre-shipment checks or third-party inspection support. Packaging, shipping arrangements and the relevant documents are discussed for the destination and order.
What support is available after delivery?
Contact ORWES with the product details and the issue you need help with. We review it with you and the relevant supplier. Warranty scope and duration are specific to each product and should be confirmed before ordering.
LET’S START WITH UNDERSTANDING
Bring your brief. We will work through it together.
A project location, a drawing and an outline of your priorities are enough to begin a useful discussion.
